First off, I put these eMiniMalls on my site that I had been running for about 4 months. My site was product-based, so I thought that displaying relative products would get me some clicks, right? Wrong. I had hundreds of impressions everyday, but I would never get any clicks. After one month, I took off the MiniMalls, as they were just being a waste of space. This is just my personal experience with MiniMalls. I'm sure some have had sucess with these things, and more power to them. Anyone have real sucess with MiniMalls?
You can try Shopping.com widget and see what results you get with that. It requires a little more upkeep though...
Hi, hope the problem with chitika is that they are showing the price, details, etc et, too much information..
I agree. Minimalls are good, but they do show too much info. It depends really where you place the ads though, too.
I'd have to agree with the over-information that is done. Leaving a bit of mystery in anything always invites someone to be motivated to find out more. It would be interesting to see if there would be a sales/convert spike if some information was withheld.
I have a product related site where chitika is doing well. They have methods of typing in keywords so it shows relevant content. I include a eminimall in my posts and it shows the exact item that i am discussing.
Did you make the default page the shop prices? I have hundreds of impressions a day (300-500) on a site and have been making from 50c - $2.30 (up to 7 clicks a day) since I put it up two weeks ago. I've only placed it in 4 posts though.
Well, yesterday i had 48k visits and my unaudited income was $17 so around $500 a month. Not too bad!
Cool I was approved with Chitika but decided to use Widgetbucks... DanLar75 have you tried widgetbucks ? if you do you will earn higher than that. I earned 1.75$ for just 4 clicks and i had only placed the ads there for 10 minutes with 195 impressions I have it as my Full Time Ad network, lets see when the Stats get here i will post my revenue i get about 500-1000 hits a day
Showing the description somehow helps (if you show the price, people may get turn off because they already know about the price anyways)
Chitika in one period of time was better than any other ads on my site. I earned from $150 to $350 monthly.
