Thought I'd revive some DP history... this is an interesting post, so the first mobile virus was made around 4-5 years ago... :D

I remember the viruses on the Ngage, people thought that was bad, then they proved that the Ngage caused cancer and people finaly threw out those crappy bricks.

Viruses havent gone much further since then, unless you live in Russia. They have viruses that take your phone hostage over there, and you gotta pay the hackers to get back your phone.

Is that not only with your own post or if someone has prompted you to?

I made a valid comment and was more meaning that while lurking in the DP underworld I found this very interesting post, dating phone viruses and showing how young they are.

    There are pitfalls....everywhere....

Just be extra cautious on whatever you wish to engage in......

and....Safety is the best precaution !!!

Are there any anti-virus available for mobile softwares too?

    Regards,

these types of viruses can make distroy plenty of softwares but there are many ways to controle them, as per the reasdon many software companies prepare matches for controlling such atacks and make perfectly adjusted with the new appearing software.
so people just play with what is comming out from it garbuge, several attempts have been dimorolized, coming to the point making such attempts faulter is todays job.............let us take an outh to make good fairwall rather than creating problem for future software developement.
