Hi guys. I just finished my first landing page for my completely free article marketing experiment. I am adertising a "get your ex girlfriend back" guide. Its my first landing page on blogger so I am wondering how i did.

    http://getbackgirlfriend.blogspot.com/

I dont want to waste my traffic from articles on a crappy landing page that wont convert so I need some honest feedback. Open to suggestions as always :) Bear in mind that the visitors are coming from my article so they dont need a lot more information about the issue. They are there for the solution so I tried to keep it short and simple.

Thx a lot for looking :)

    Hey Tibor,

    Still doing your things.

Looks good, but the best way is making the article more personal. Tell your "own" story, you had a relationship for several years, you two broke up. You tried everything to get her back with no success. You bought the ebook and tried the things described in the ebook with success. You are happy now with your ex, blablabla..

Try it on this way.. ;)

Thats an excellent idea for an experiment. I will split test this blog and another blog with a more personal approach. You have great ideas originator. Thanks :)

2 things here. First, I'd get off of Blogger ASAP and onto your own domain and hosting. If you do manage to get some organic traffic coming your way, it's pointed toward a domain that you don't own or control.

But the big issue is that you need to make a pre-sell page. On this first go-around, you're not promoting Matt Huston. See, you're jumping into it too fast. Tell the "personal story," as originator says, but also remove all mentions of this program. Because by hopping someone over to the Huston page, you're just repeating yourself. Same graphics. Same thing about 83.6% success, etc. etc.

I'm probably not explaining this good enough, so maybe someone else can give you more.

    Flip is right.

What you can do is, get your own server and hosting. It costs nothing. You can install Wordpress or other CMS on it. Why? You are hosting your content at Blogspot right now. So Blogspot can remove your blog if they want (somebody mailed about "this blog is spam" as example). I also made that mistake, I setup a Wordpress account for some clickbank products. A lot of visitors, but after 2 days somebody sent a message to Wordpress that my blog was spam. Wordpress removed it immediately and no BACKUP!

Same here, set up Blogger blogs as funnels, drove a bunch of traffic to them, then they are started getting flagged as spam.

Use squidoo and hubpages if you really want free, but go with your own domain to be safe.

Well the thing is i wanted to make some money using free alternatives first and then buy the domains and hosting for that money.
Thanks to everyone for suggestions so far ;)

I see what you are trying to say. So I should make the page into sort of personal experience review? And how am i going to hop the visitors to Hustons page? Should I just make a link at the bottom saying something like "Click here to learn more about the guide that saved my relationship" ?

Like i ve said before, to others, you should move yourself to a domain of your own, and to try to make it a little more personal. Also , you can add a bonus to oyur visitors, and add to oyur page an autoresponder form, if you don t want to invest money try searching , free autoresponder on google, this way , you will earn your visitors trust, and you will gain leads for oyur future affilaite programs. You must undersatnd that on the way you are doing it now, you are losing a lot more money that you can afford to lose.Try this, and you will see a lot of profit. A .Info domain costs you 0.99, if you don t want a .com, which costs 7.49, and at hostgator, the first month is just 0.01$. so with 1$, you have hosting and domain. can you afford to lose money just fore one dollar?

    My 2 cents...
The page looks cute... But as others said, buy your own domain, get a cheap .info at godaddy, and check hostgator, they have good plans, the point your domain to hostgator... *** that's the technical stuff, now as for the landing page:
You are trying to sell the product in the landing page... You can't do that, that's what Houston's page does, you have to pre sell or pre condition the visitor...(with a personal experience, review, or something like that) And don't use the same graphics that the product's page uses.
    Good luck!

Ok I turned the site into a "personal happy ending story". Do you think its better now? I kinda feel bad for making all of that up to make people buy the product :( Its 785 words long, isnt it too much?

Yeah, I know what you mean, it happened to me once... You feel like you are lying (technically you are, lol), But hey, its true that it didnt happened, but it could have happened that way... :D

I would try to break it up a little, so there are more paragraphs, and double space them, so its easier to read... Also, I dont know if you can in blogger, but try to convert the top banner and both photos to links linking to the product's page... people usually click on photos... and make the image bordless (<img src="whatever.jpg" border="0"/>)

Nice site, but you may want to change the image with the istockphoto watermark, the two hearts at the bottom. I'm sure you could find a similar image out there without a watermark, it would look much better.
