First invalid clicks in a long time

When it comes to monitoring our traffic, clicks etc, the two years plus, we've been extremely fortunate to have not received a rash of invalid clicks over this time.

I now find that we've gotten several in the last few days, doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere in particular, but we're getting alot of hacking type bots showing up in the logs of a few sites.

I've read through google's pages on invalid clicks, and I'm curious if I should fire off a message to support and get the typical cut & paste answer back, or just keep a document record of what & where we suspect the clicks have come from?

    Suggestions greatly appreciated.

I'd personally suggest sending an email to Google AdSense support, if only to cover your own back.

Keeping a document would be handy to show them exactly where you think the clicks have come from.

if yuo get few invalid clicks here and there, then i don;t think you ned to inform google as they will identify them as invalid clicks and will not pay you for that. but i would suggest you to keep your server log for reference in case you hear from google. if you get click bombed, then for sure let adsense support know about that.

In order to secure your Adsense account, you should report that click to Google immediately.

Wouldn't adsense be able to monitor things themselves though? surely they can see invalid clicks as nothing to do with the publisher.
