Ok so I have pretty much just got my first website online and it is basically just my blog. Its located at www dot doovde dot com I wanted to start a site to practice SEO and link building with a site that was easy for me to build and the content was easy to write and update. Its a wordpress blog. Now firstly I have decided to target the keywords online poker blog I did a bit of research on googles key word tool and it showed an aprox average search volume of 5,400 and the bar for advertiser competition was empty. My blog is set up with 4 posts and I have downloaded the All in One SEO plugin for wordpress. I did some research using google and changed around my settings a bit. Are they currently optimal for my targeted keywords? Do I need to elaborate more on the description or will this dilute my keywords? Every post has its own seperate SEO options that look like this: Should I be putting the same info as above into all my posts SEO options? Should I be using better descriptions? Lastly is it a problem that my keywords arn't in the web address name? Thanks for any help its greatly appreciated Dave
Add more keywords, make a keyword analysis and research that will be appropriate for your site. Make your description longer and informative. As I can see, your on page looks very spammy
Should I be looking to do this for each separate post based on its content? If my phrase is online poker blog why do I need other keywords? Sorry to ask newbie questions. Dave
Each of your posts should have a unique title and description. (check DP thread titles). Your titles can include "online poker blog" even for internal pages. (Your post title format should take care of it though)
