sounds like your friend was telling his friends to click. He will most likely get a warning if he keeps it up
Yep, looks like your friend told some friends and they are clicking on the adds. It would be more normal if the site was older, because the traffic would be (theoretically) oriented.
Just wondering Does your friend = you? Usually when people say their friend they are trying not to get themself in trouble.
As long as the clicks are legit, there's probably nothing to worry about. The 48% click through rate is pretty good (Hopefully the page doesn't just have ads on it ). I think my highest was under 3%.
How does google decide whats a legit click anyway? Or how many clicks can one ip do before they become invalid/spam? Theoretically one could spam a competitiors adsense ads to get him into trouble? That just sounds wrong :\ I know that getting to many backlinks to fast to your site doesnt get you into trouble because the webmaster obviously cannot keep controll of who links to his page, so I think it would be faire if adsense followed that policy - i'd prefer seing people cheat and get some extra clicks rather than innocent people getting banned because of things they have no controll over.

some people can get a 30% clickthrough rate, it's rare and usually only done by someone who has the experience. I'm pretty sure the average clickthrough rate is 3% to 7%...
