I guess squatters have nothing else to do other than finding ways to make quick buck at other people expense. I wonder, now that these buggers have a new field to play on, how are we going to protect ourselves from these email squatters?

a lot of address books/emails have auto complete, or they should.

if you are trying to shoot an email off to some guy for the first time, then you deserve to get it to the wrong person for trying without knowing

I guess using your address book would stop this happening. A few clicks instead of typing in the email address and your email gets to the right place, everytime

it's pathetic. My sitename (which is trademarked, I invented the word) was taken in gmail, and I was furious...yet, there's not a damn thing I can do.
