    First-attempt at blog

    Hi, I'm totally new to blogging, and I thought I'd make my first one as yet another one of

    those Agloco pages. I pretty much just stuck with one of the template designs offered by

    blogger.com, so I was wondering what your opinions on my content (there's only one post) and

    use of image in my post is.

    Also, if I were planning on putting on Adsense, where should I put it?

    Btw, other than pinging, what are some other ways to promote a blog?

    The blog is okay.. for the header I would use the same style as the logo in your content area (so a more saturated green and plain gradient).

    Also, you have been social bookmarking the site with digg and similar sites to promote your blog, yes?

    I would swap out the Blogspot theme for something fresher. What you are using now is an aged theme, there are so many newer and more interesting ones out there. You don't want your theme to detract from your content.

    Matt, can you plz gimme some suggestions as to the newer themes out there? I'm a bit reluctant to build themes from scratch simply because its too time consuming for me as I'm not really good at it.

    8Everything found the right site for you. You don't have to build one from scratch as they have some nice themes available for you.

    Fisker, do you mean how to show your own blog in your profile? If that's what you're asking, when you log into Blogger and go to your Dashboard, click on "Edit my Profile" on the right hand side
