Took around a week or so but it finally got accepted (1st time ). I have had articles with them in the past but this is the first one since I actually started here at DP as a writer. Take a look and see what you think here Any feedback is welcome, good or bad I don't mind. I can only learn from my mistakes. Not sure how the author rankings work with ezinearticles but with that one articles in the "internet marketing" category I'm ranked 1729 out of 4653. Plenty more to come in the future Richard
Even i am also not too much a ezine person myself and generally submit articles for client, but recently added my article and got approved withing a week. Here is the link to that articles1 articles2 hope but i don't know what traffic it is fetching. Can you tell me how do i check how many people are reading my article. Any comment by any reader will be highly appreciated by me.
If you go into the members area and I think it's the 'author tools' drop down or something. There is something about article statistics where you can see how many page views it has had, how many click throughs on the resource box etc. Hope this helps. Richard
Ezine articles is something I am looking into this year as a new way of marketing myself. Please keep us posted how it works out!
I am kind of glad you started this thread bon300187. I have debated for over a year whether I would bother submitting any articles to ezine. Then last week, someone gave me a bit of a tap and challenged me to try and market a website in this fashion. I figured I would let them have one of my articles - lol. Anyway, when the message came back that it takes 7-14 days to have the article reviewed, I was somewhat discouraged because I figure at that rate for every article, it would take forever to get anywhere. So I was about to ask how long it took others to have their articles accepted. And you answered the question. In any case, congratulations. That is terrific that they accepted your article. Dei`form Artics You can also check on your server or hosting account logs to see if any traffic has come to your sites via ezine.
Cheers everyone, I think I need about 4 more or so then I can upgrade. Then when you get to 30 I think it is you can upgrade again.
To see what your articles have gotten, look at Articles> Reports. I get the best traffic from printnpost.com. One of my articles has gotten over 25,000 on pnp which is far better than anything at ezine. But ezine is more well known so I submit there, too. The last one had a link too far up and they said it was too "salesy". I actually didn't change the article but removed the link because it wasn't salesy at all. It was accepted. I think they felt the link make it salesy. But since I have more than 10, I got approval in 2 days.
So, do writers get direct earnings from this? Or is it solely for link building? Sorry if that's off topic. this has piqued my interest in link building options. (any reviews on the link building, by chance? stats? etc?)
No there are no direct earnings per se. Basically if you can get visitors to your site and the right page, hopefully they might buy what you have to offer. The idea sometimes is to presell but not in a sales way. Rather by giving good information. Ideally, the traffic the article sends to your site should be more targeted and hopefully ready to buy than general traffic. And yes for link building as well.
Why you should wait more than 7 days to be accepted for your Articles? You can do it on my high pagerank Article Directories and you will be published in less than 6 hours. Just visit my signature website and register there.
Well at the moment I'm using it really for link building methods to see if it works. The earnings that I am hoping for is people using ezinearticles looking for info then clicking through on the resource box to my site. So far I've had 40 impressions and 3 click throughs on my article. I actually uploaded another one 2 days ago and that got accepted last night so the speed with that one was great Richard
For one thing I applaud your effort as it is obvious that you put a lot of time and effort into this. However, I see some problems: 1. Why take 1,300 words when it can be said with 300 words? Readers get bored quickly and few will read through that much unless it is very interesting and well written. 2. You have a slew of run on sentences. The writing structure needs a lot of work. Practice, practice .. practice. I have an artilce writing service and have well over 100 articles on EZA, take my word for it. Again, I do want to say that you are on your way ... don't give up.
