first appearance in index

    is it normal not to be listed in index even with site: command, when googlebot visits your site every 24-48 hours?

    I would not be worried yet. I just checked my newest site with site command and found no results. It just went from no page rank to page rank 4 so it is in process of being noticed by Google. Think we will have to be patient.

    well if a site with a pr4 isnt being listed then i guess its normal for me not to be listed as well :)

    it does take some time to get listed. how old is the site?

    btw - this is the correct forum for the thread, because you're asking about the performance of a site. no biggie :)
