First $500/day

I rarely spend my daily budget but that's just me. I'm not bidding on broad words. I'm doing specific keywords so my $100/day budget doesn't even get close. I'm not blowing things up with 1,000 keywords either so that's another part if you're going to blow you budget.

In a "hot" season I have blown through $100 and $200 in one day with 2 keywords but again that's for a day or 3.

Well for the Campaign I set up Google said the budget should be $5 to $10 a day..

It is not a niche that is going to get a tons of traffic but It is
very targeted and I have made sales with just organic traffic and
some ezine articles so I figured If I could pick up some more with
PPC I would be stupid not to..

What you think?

 

Also Should I be doing content and search or is search the best to target?

try broad keywords. Try to build more related keywords.

 

Thanks for the info, basically what I did was go back and look at my
traffic logs from the last month and see what people searched for
to get to my site organically and I used those for my ppc keywords..


Day 1 : Advertising Costs: $10.50

15 clicks, 2 conversions for a profit of around $120


Sounds like a winner to me

I guess I can have a few bad days testing and still be ahead so I am
just going to leave everything alone for a few weeks and see how
things go..

But don't stop here. Keep building you keyword list and keep testing those new keywords, even if you loose money.

Well I understand the basics I dont expect anyone to give away much info, I just read and lurk around
the boards and learn anything I can... I know the more keywords you work with the more traffic you are going
to pick up just gotta keep it targeted..

 

Hi There, do you use direct linking to the advertisers? I think there are some advertisers that do not like direct linking. What you do in that case?
