I like your graphical imagery and descriptive illustration. A few suggestions: mention how "off-page" optimization is often called SEM, which also includes PPC. They aren't really the same thing, although they work together and most "SEO" work is actually link SEM. Many people are confused about the difference between organic and PPC listings; I am often asked if you can't simply pay to be listed at the top of Google. One thing I feel you must do is break up the sections into paragraphs. In general, especially for online readers, a paragraph should be no longer than 4-5 lines. Also consider a break between paragaphs for improved readability.
You need to work on the design of the blog, you should get a more unique template and a professional logo. The article is great, I think you should break it up into paragraphs and add some graphics to the page, good luck with the blog.
I dont mean to be picky, but in a few places you write "Google will...." I have been doing seo for a while now and I personally find that nobody really knows anything for definite. I tend to write "Google may..." I have many site and I am learning by messing around with them on a daily basis and monitoring them, I find stuff that works and I tend to keep it to myself for obvious reasons. I find sharing seo information can shoot yourself in the foot, good on you for giving tips. The other thing is, why dont you have your own domain for seo reasons, it would be far better. How come you didnt use the article as an example and get it at the top of the page for a particular search phrase which is pretty easy, 3 words and up is easy most of the time, 2 words can be difficult and 1 word is impossible IMO if its a real word.
I guess this is only your starting in SEO article writing. Though there is nothing out of the box , I liked your simple writing style. try to put more contents in it.
