Well, I finally have given up on trying to get this forum to take off. I'm no good at forum administration so I'm going to sell this site off.

The site has a unique design developed by a friend of mine. The vBulletin license is an owned license which was renewed less than 2 weeks ago.

There is no revenue really to speak of for this site. I've never really tried to make any money off of this site although I did recently add google ads which need to be optimized.

I have tried to sell this site in the past but I have failed to do so because I did not recieve offers I liked. This time I have recieved and offer of $550 which I will sell the site at. The site will be sold this time around.

 

It has potential, but for a brand new forum like this it would take a TON of work. Keep us updated on the buyer. I would be interested but not for that much.

I have not heard anything from the seller and it appears the site is being changed (now shows zero posts)

I have just now got to a computer to check your bid. I'm not exactly sure what you mean that the site is being changed? The site is still in operating order.

Just a note on Amos..I recently has a $xxxx deal with him that went rather smoothly. Firefoxforum.com appears fine to me...are you sure you didn't typo Shoemoney?

 

actually I realize now I typed in firefoxforums.com (s) and saw the douplicate forum with zero users.

Anyway I have released him from any obligation to me as he has other parties intrested.

 

Not to mention that Firefoxforums.com is using images developed for FirefoxForum.com (the site being sold). I have contacted them and asked them to remove the images as soon as possible. If nothing else happens I will move further with actions against this.

Where did you add Adsense ads?...couldn't see them. Is this a situation where forum visitors would be "offended" by revenue generating ads?

 

The ads were placed every 5 or so ads I believe in the showthread pages. That's it. I have no idea if the visitors would be "offended" by showing ads. I don't see any reason why they may be though?
