    crome is the best as every one suggested more over firefox is the proven browser around the worldwide user , firefox is not the crap actually speaking it was build with various plugins for all the tool users .
    there should be some problem in your computer in your case

    Try Pale Moon, it's much faster than chrome. You can install FF add-ons too.

    I think you have to check your add-ons. More add-ons cause problem. My Firefox is working fine.

    I think you should use FireFox CometBird. It's really good for browsing.
