chrome will not necesarlly come out on top - but they do the best of the three at the acid tests, and it is a simple clean browser
Your rankings don't make sense. It uses the same rendering engine as Safari but it does have some faults. However, it is most likely the site that is causing Chrome the problem, not the other way around. You consider the outline of the browser an important fundamental of browser choice? How bizarre. But its layout is probably the worst of all of them with their choice of placement of back/forward buttons and all the other options. A UI designers nightmare. Again, you consider the outline of the browser is more important? Plus you think this browser makes web sites look tacky? You must be doing something wrong since Firefox renders sites far better than IE ever could and, in many cases, does not control what the page looks like. That's a totally bizarre statement you made. With graphics, efficiency and speed - Google tops the chart (as always)![/QUOTE]
Well, it could be considered bizarre to some people for having such an unhealthy hatred for Microsoft. You say the rankings don't make sense, well Chrome just happens to be the fastest, it's clean and efficient. I know I.E has problems, but if it was such a disaster then no one would be using it, which is certainly not the case. With Mozilla, I don't know what to say, it makes fonts look crap. Don't understand all the hype about it. At the end of the day, a browsers a browser.
I use firefox at home and IE at office, but always found firefox better as it has better features and doesn't go down as easy as IE due to virus. I also prefer Opera as it has inbuilt torrent download feature.
With ie i hit 100% cpu usage alot.... with firefox it keeps it below 25% att all times and maybe spikes one time a day depending on what site im on.
My Ranking. FireFox Internet Explorer Opera Safari Chrome. Person who think Chrome is fastest is wrong, there is nothing in Chrome. Use Internet Explorer without addons. I strongly believe that Chrome will be same after years as some other Google Products like Gtalk etc.
Firefox is the best one! I have tried chrome, but it couldn't open some web pages correctly. IE is old and it have to learn more from Firefox, and this always makes it heavy and slow.
I am using both FF and Chrome. I use FF if I want to do some serious surfing and Chrome is for casual reading.
Chrome is still in Beta so we can't really tell or compare it to these long existing browser. I still go with firefox though no matter what.
I also like Chrome But What about plugins..I think Chrome is Still developing So Its better to use FF.. If a person wants Plugin support then.
Hm. Are you saying, then, that I am lying about everything or am I telling the truth. If I am telling the truth then what does it matter? If I am not telling the truth, please show me where I am wrong. You can't. And please notice I said nothing about Microsoft other than IE. You don't seem to want to know the truth. More people use it because Microsoft forced users and developers to use it. That's why the US Justice Department and the European Union have fined MS almost $2 billion dollars over the last few years and almost broke Microsoft up. Fonts are made available by the operating system, not the browser. System calls to the OS are made by browsers to display fonts. Why you think FF displays things differently is beyond me. Absolutely false. See my links below. IE8 is the worst browser on the planet.
