Firefox vs I.E

Firefox, although I still use IE time to time for stuff Firefox cant do (Like, checking how my sites look on IE)

I mainly prefer firefox because I get less spyware on my pc from it. And a few extensions that are handy!

 

You can check how things looks in IE without even changing your FireFox window by using the the IE Tab plugin.

 

IE is more stable then FF. IE also is more old fasioned

 

More stable? How do you mean?

 

At hell, they all use fire.... so I use fire also... haha (what a crap jokes is't)

 

The best thing about firefox is the amount and variety of plug ins you can download additionaly.
The tabbed browsing is now present in all browsers.
I use IE 6 as well and firefox definately is faster and safer.

i like forefox , because lot of options and skins.even opera is good both are better then IE

 

I just upgraded to IE7 here at the office. Here is a flaw in the system; that I'm not sure if it works as designed. If I set 3 homepages (one for each tab), and I hit the home button, all the tabs go home instead of just the current tab, meaning I lose whatever page I'm on in the other tabs too. It seems to be progressive....

If I'm on tab 2, it makes home go on tab 2 3 and 4. If I'm on tab 1, tabs 1 2 and 3 go home. Weird. I guess its as designed, but I'd prefer if only the active tab went home.

 

I use em both....

IE because for me it is much faster....

FF because of all the options! addons etc....

 

I used both too. Because, being a programmer i must use both as a browser. we have users in internet explorer and users in netscape. So to keep both users on with websites. we make the html compatible iwth both code.

 

To be fair, if you wrote the code right in the first place, it'd always be right.

 

Firefox! i just recently move it to it, coz i used IE 7 and that was just crap, IE 7 uses 80% firefox layout. Thats why i hate it.

Is'nt FireFox great? Microsoft is copying it in IE7...I like Opera & Firefox

 

I used to think firefox will not be good for me. But once I tried it. I am still using it.
