    FireFox hands down. IE 8 is a lot better then IE 6 or 7 thou. IE 6 really sucked.

    Firefox seems to be faster than IE when opening new tabs. I have been using IE since version 4 and I just switched to Firefox but I would still say IE sometimes handles sites that do not display well in Firefox.

    IE isn't handling anything well. It's that the coders who made those sites don't know what they're doing, they're incompetent, behind the times, don't know any better, or all or some of the above.

    I run Firefox 24/7 on 3 boxes. Never turn the machines off. I maintain boxes for about 10 relatives, too. Firefox never crashes. Fix your system.

    I use FF but the only problem i have is it uses a alot of memory.

    ...And if you really want to be diehard and avoid ie like the plague. Try using the Maxthon 2 browser for testing. Somehow it manages to be more annoying than ie. It's Chinese, I believe, a "hack-browser" developed to bypass the country's www censorship.
