I use firefox as much as possible, it's just too convenient. I think it's easier to use. And the new tabs seem to load quicker than in IE. In IE it opens a new process for each new tab and that is a pain in the neck. But I have to use IE on some sites.

And who of you who runs Windows never used IE? Firefox is always downloaded by choice. So a comparison between IE and Firefox always occurs. Now, comparisons with other browsers is less likely since most hear of FF but not the others.

I just want to reply to some people that think that Firefox is safer than IE : it's not true.
Firefox has many advantages, but not security.
The two most secured browsers, after VN, are Chrome and IE.

I don't want to start a troll, cause this topic doesn't pinpoint security but look.
Anybody can access your computer if you are using Opera, it's fulled with exploitable vulnerabilities.
I have been in security for many years, so it's personnal experience.

I'm not talking about viruses, cause that's a minor vector of attacks.
The fact that anybody can spoof you, read & intercept your requests and access your computer in remote with almost 100% of discretion garanteed like it is possible on Opera, that, is what I call security problems.
Besides, ask any security expert instead of quoting random "large public" websites.

    You already did.
You didn't even mention Opera before.
This is true of anything on the 'net. Don't be picking on Opera.
I've never heard anyone say that before. Care to support that statement?
Besides, ask any security expert instead of quoting random "large public" websites.[/QUOTE]That site has been quoted in the past by Microsoft. It's well known. I guess you never heard of it. Notice the data is compiled from Secunia.

I always preferred firefox but FF has taken a crap lately. Keep getting "not responding" on my old and new computer. And it has problems with windows 7 and some plugins when combined you get a lot of invalid URL errors. Personally I'm taking it off my PC.

I know this is hard for you but think about it. There are millions and millions of users with new computers around the world running Firefox, including the 24 I maintain, that have none of the issues you speak of. If everyone had the same problems you did, no one would use it. So who is having the problem, you or the millions of others?
