    Hi,

Downloaded older version of FF. Installed a few addons (extensions). Updated FF to latest version and it wants to close down every time to loads up. Should I re-install the older version again?

Just remove this download and then re-install... this should solve the problem...

I already uninstalled it, rebooted and re-installed. Same problem.

Which version were you trying to update to? I updated to 1.5.0.4 and it killed my computer with crashes...finally had to go back to 1.5.0.3

Using 2.0 Bon Echo alpha I've actually had very very few problems.

If you lose tabs, 2.0 has a tab recovery feature that will open them again if Firefox crashes, so you don't have to reload each tab.
