I tried firefox once, it was good but nothing special. I would have carried on using if it actually loaded stuff up as fast as IE (pictures were really delayed on it). The main feature I liked was tabbed browsing
Speaking of tabbed browsing, it's a feature that's been fantastic for those stuck with dial-up (I used to be one of those people). To speed up my browsing (before FF), what I used to do was open a bunch of IE windows, wait for the first site to load, and then in all the others load the next 5 sites or so I was planning on visiting next. By the time I was finished visiting the first site, usually at least one of the others had finished, so I could "instantly" read that page. Switching through a bunch of IE windows can get to be tedious, so when I came across FF with it's tabbed browsing, it was a no-brainer as to whether or not to switch. It's great, even browsing the DP forums to be able to view the new posts and just right-click --> open in new tab on all the interesting threads and go from there. Sure, IE7's offering tabbed browsing, but they're a little late...
I only use Firefox to check my sites look ok on it, otherwise it's IE7 all the way for me. I love the anti-aliasing, zoom, and drag-as-you-like-margins in the print preview. Can't wait for its official release. Anyone know when?
Meh, I had a hard time making the jump from IE to FF, but the plugins are completely my style, completely worth the switch.
Am a FF fan I've IE & Opera too, but am always using FF, I use IE only because of msn & alexa toolbar & I have Opera installed just because I wanted to try it
