Firefox reply to Chrome: V. 3.1

Will stay with FF as well. Plan to try Chrome on Ubuntu when they release a version for Linux. Till then hopefully it will come out of beta and all the bugs will be fixed.

 

Chrome might be fast, but Using FF is easy and with mods it gets is what we like.!

 

Um, Chrome has add-ons, or at least the ability. Those are coming.

 

The article talks about Firefox javascript engine only, not the browser as a whole. Trace Monkey is not an answer to Chrome since it's been in the works for some time. In any case, Firefox, Chrome (once it gets out of beta), Safari and Opera are the best browsers in the world and suitable to everyone's style and preference. Please use one of those and get your friends and family to do the same.

 

Chrome may be fast but FireFox is more secured browser.

 

I will never understand the debate over this. I personally don't like chrome, FireFox is good but could be better, IE is just a joke, Opera is ok, but needs improvement.

 

Firfox 3 is my favorit. I think Chrome will need some time to get ready. So far it's just beta.

there are bugs on Chrome because it's still on Beta.
Try to right click on address bar, then it will be shutdown with error message (don't know if it's already fixed or not)

 

Anything would have to be faster than ff v3

 

After using for so many days I still believe that Firefox is best.

Google should not have created Chrome rather have used all that time and money in development of FF which still is and will always remain better.

 

Chrome isnt fastest and Firefox isnt second. Safari is the fastest browser out there then it's either Chrome or Opera.

 

They are all going for faster and faster browsers.
Firefox will release 3.1 which will be faster, Google will do the same and so on that competition has many advantages to us.


I can't wait for the one who's gonna make a browser who displays the page you want even before you key in the url haha xD

 

Please provide data on this blatant attempt at plugging Opera. Opera has been slower than FF since FF 2.1 as far as I recall. As for Chrome being faster check this out - Just wait folks. FF is the one - stick with it

Chrome has proven to be faster.. but I must say, until I get my "Save Page as Image" addon back, Firefox will forever hold that special place in my heart

 

I don't like FireFox and Chrome because they will mess the CSS styles of some sites.
Though IE is not so good, it's good to a lazy CSS designer at least.

 

Yes , only the few top css designer can design the site that looks the same in ie , ff, chrome.

FF is slower than IE and chrome is faster than IE. I prefer chrome, it save my time. Its disadvantage is some css doesn't work properly in chrome.

 

personallly i find crome SLOWER! ...... firefox it still what i use!

 

I'd still go for FireFox for the next few months. Google chrome still has a lot of catching up to do.
