I'm running firefox 3.6.12 yet website like YouTube and a few others still think I'm running an out dated version any solution to fixing this problem they keep wanting me to install the lastest version of which I'm running now yet they're not picking up that it's the currect version that I'm using?

why do YouTube bothers if you're running an out dated version of firefox? Is it the Flash Player is the one that is actually outdated?

I have no idea I've had 3 websites, 3 companies telling me I'm running on an out-dated browser.

    1. YouTube
    2. Hotmail
    3. AIM

Not too sure if this would help at all, however did you try to clear your browsers cache/cookies? Were you previously running an older version and have recently upgraded?

Yeah that did cross my mind, un-installing and re-installing the browser dosn't fix the problem either. I'll clear my cache/cookies now.
