Hello people! it's my first post here.

I have a question related to MSN Messenger.

I am using Mozilla Firefox as web-browser, and I have installed MSN Live 8.0.0812.00. I want to know how to do to make this MSN version (and all versions in general) to pop-up a Firefox window instead an IE window when clicking the Hotmail Inbox icon.

I look for this in the MSN Options without success.

    Thanks in advance.
    Nicolas

    hello nicolaievich!

u said u wnt to change your browser into msn?is that right?

well, all you have to do is go to "Tools" on the menu bar and click on the "Options..." Click the "General" icon/link and change the Location(s) of your home page. Change your previous URL to your desired URL which is MSN and just click ok, and that's it.:)

grazie_web, I think that would only change the home page when opening Firefox. To get WLM (and all other "proper" programs that have links) to use Firefox for browsing, make sure Firefox is selected as the default browser.

To do this, go to Options > General like grazie_web said and click "Check Now" in the Default Browser section.

Now, some programs (WLM, I don't know, but Valve's Steam has to use IE for some reason) are pretty much hardcoded to use Internet Explorer, in that case, I wouldn't know what to do.
