Firefox Plugin makes submitting easier!

Sorry if this has been mentioned in the past. Today I found a firefox plugin called InFormEnter

    download URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensio...ox&category=Editing and Forms&numpg=10&id=673

This wonderful plugin makes submitting to directories way easier. It lets you define a simple list of possible form fields you'd like to fill out.

For example, I setup the following common directory fields

    Full Name
    Email address
    URL
    Title
    Keywords
Description (can be as long as you want)

I also setup Title2, Title3, Title4, Title5 etc. to make sure my anchor text stays varied.

Basically this little arrow appears next to all form fields and you click on the arrow which pops up a drop down menu and you select the field you want. SO SIMPLE.

I'm not positive, I just installed it today, but something is slowing down my browser/computer a tiny bit - it may be this plugin. That being said, if you were going to put an hour into submiting to directories, it would be a piece of cake to keep the plugin disabled till you need it. If you're going to go this route, make sure you keep a backup of your definitions which is no more then a simple text list accessible by right clicking the blue arrow that appears next to all form fields. The definition list looks like this:

    http:// www.tubanews.com#URL
    John Smith#Full Name
    TubaNews.com#Title1
    Tuba Euphonium News#Title2
    Tuba News#Title3

I realize that FireFox, the Google toolbar and other tools have automated form filling options - but none of these give you such quick access to a predefined list of possible titles and descriptions (I keep 4 sets), ensuring interesting and varied anchor text and descriptions for directory submissions. Use your imagination!

Forget what I said about potentially slowing down the browser, I think we're ok. For some reason when I upgraded AIM it snuck the AOL tool bar in there which was freaking out both IE and somehow also Firefox, it was trying to run when I loaded the browser. It's gone now. I repeat the plugin is NOT a problem. Note to self, read AOL installation programs carefully and uncheck boxes that say "Install AOL Toolbar".

Just a note, its not a plugin. Plugins and extensions are two totally different things, extensions add functionality to the browser, and plugins, in general, add file-type support. Such as PDF support, or Flash or Shockwave.

    Nice extension though ;)

Cool...I'm going to check it out- I've been using firefox for a long time. I know that people will hate me for saying this...firefox seems to be growing a bit more buggy. More people targeting it I guess.
