I'm trying to see if I can manage to switch to Firefox (might be too much change for me). Anyway, I'm pretty dependent upon Roboform for handling all my passwords, and it doesn't yet work with Firefox 1.0, so I thought the built-in Firefox Password Manager might suffice, BUT, it has one flaw (as far as I can tell). Some sites I go to are sites where I have more than one username/pwd combo (like one for me and one for a client). With Roboform, I could just choose from a list and use whichever one I wanted. Doesn't seem like that is possible with Firefox's Password Manager. It looks as though I get one choice and one choice only per page. True? Or am I missing something? I've tried to find an extension that would have this ability but haven't been successful. Anyone know if this is available, or do I just have to either live with it, or wait for Roboform to upgrade its tool to be used with 1.0? Thanks! I know some of you are avid Firefox users.
While I do use FF as my regular browser, I'm not too familiar with some of the things that can be done over and above the default features. I highly suggest asking this question in the FF forums (which you can get to by clicking on Help > About Firefox from the menu). I'm curious to learn what you find out.
Alternatively, you could check the extentions section - http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/ - to see if there are any better ones.
I heard a google password manager for firefox which need google account to secure passwords in 1 place
@ Sakib000 I guess you mean the Google Sync Extension. With that addon you can syncronize your browser at work and at home so they will always have the same PWs Bookmarks etc.. You can have multiple PWs on one site. Simply enter a new username and PW and press enter. If the "Remember Password" Window doesnt pop up go to tools>options>security>password exceptions and remove the site you want to store your password. Cheers FFH
