You have to select it from the option link at the top of the page. I know life is complicated but you two guys need to figure out that I couldn't possibly have listed IE8 in my sig two years ago. If you are going to look at my current sig and complain that it's the same as two years ago, I just don't know what to say to you. Actually, I do but I won't. Because "dirty HTML" has to be guessed at by the browser. You can't rely on all browsers to read your mind the same way. Write valid code and modern browsers will handle it the same. Except IE which isn't a modern browser. But it's hard to comment on invisible markup you aren't showing. If the modern browsers, Opera and FF, don't display the same as IE, what does that tell us about IE? Never trust IE to do anything right. That's new. I had not seen that one before.
This is the 3rd time I'm saying this. ArsTechnica or ZDNet show users are upgrading to IE8 but many are switching to other browsers, too, causing an overall decrease in IE usage.
Thanks for let me know. So far i can see IE8 have a lot unknown ? and there where is test done perform excellent and better than other browsers. http://www.webdevout.net/browser-support?IE8=on&FX3=on&OP9=on&uas=CUSTOM It is funny to see your sig The new IE8 is 11 years behind the standards or wrong. because it have nothing to do with the results from link you self provided. I do not care what you had 2 years a go. I know what i see now and it does not make any sense.
I'm still waiting for someone to show me where it says that. And there is no "excellent" rating. IE8 does well on print but that's about it. Why are you going on about an incomplete test? I gave links to complete tests earlier. Because you aren't following the thread and just answering the post out of context. Because you aren't following the thread.
Where you have seen that i said "excellent" rating???? I said ...there where is test done perform excellent and... The fact is that IE8 perform excellent in test from your link and better than other browsers and when unknown tests become known i'm afraid that you will be pushed to change your sig: http://www.webdevout.net/browser-support?IE8=on&FX3=on&OP9=on&uas=CUSTOM And you probably have not tested manually how perform Firefox and how IE8 here: http://samples.msdn.microsoft.com/ietestcenter/ Try and you will see a lot FAIL for Firefox and a lot PASS for IE8
You still have not shown me where this is. Again, you haven't looked at any of the links I supplied other than the incomplete one. The others show IE8 already fails at everything I said. Plus, you are now looking at an incomplete test and claiming IE8 is better than the others. That's like giving someone a 100 question quiz but taking it away after answering the first five correctly and claiming they pass the test. Stating that you think IE8 is better based on that shows you are only guessing at best. And a lot of fail for IE8, too. Gee, a Microsoft test where IE8 does well. Imagine that. Actually, I can't say anything about Microsoft's test because I've not played with it yet. You still haven't shown me what IE8 passes and what Firefox fails at either. But independent 3rd parties all say the same thing. IE8 is awful. I have to leave for a few hours.
I'm really happy this is happening because I'm sick of optimizing my pages for outdated browsers that do not support the common standards.
deny, you're wasting your time; even though his own link shows IE8 with better ratings than FF3, he either doesn't want to see it or is blind
