It is an interesting stat which speaks volumes about the ability of general people to quickly change to an efficient tool. I myself know many people who have not cared to or are simply fearful to upgrade their IE from version 6 to the latest, while still using XP effortlessly. It simply means everybody have a better option than trying to tinker with MS product upgrade! Regards, RightMan
I dont think fearful is the word. I think its just some people doesn't how to upgrade to the latest version of IE or if they really should upgrade. Firefox rule... maybe this mean many German are tech savvy thats why they use a grear browser like Firefox and trashed their crappy IE browser heheh
I wouldnt be surprised. I would of thought it would be like this more across the world by now, firefox is much eaiser, safer to use and also loads websites alot better then IE does.
Don't get me wrong, IE has improved over the years, but it still has so much less capabilities than Firefox.
Firefox is great, although it's totally hyped in my opinion. I prefer it over IE, but it's far from being the fastest or most stable browser.
Internet Explorer 9 might come out later. I still dont think that Internet Explorer 9 will get a good comeback at firefox although Chrome users are also increasing (im on Chrome).
Firefox has propelled itself from the most unknown web browser to the powerhouse that Internet Explorer once was. I was one of the few who gave Firefox the test run when it was first released and was hooked but since its first launch it has evolved into a great engine. Chrome is coming up as well and it will be a real contender in the next year or two for the number one spot.
I am also pretty much satisfied with Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and for its alternative, I have Google Chrome.
