Firefox OPENS download in Linux server?

    Ok I have a FedoraCore8 VPS server.

There I host my vB forums, EVERYTHING WORKS fine except my downloads.

For example, I upload file: test1.rar via FTP.

I go to url: www.example.com/test1.rar and try to download with IE and works 100% no issues (saves file, etc..).

I try www.example.com/test1.rar, and firefox OPENS the download file (not saves, OPENS) in same tab and a bunch of weird symbols etc appears.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? This is happening for every single file. For just some apparent reason firefox wont save/download files uploaded on my server.

I will pay someone via paypal if they can help as thanks :D

It's your firefox, not server. Check in Firefox options, if there is any integrated part mentioning to .rar file extension

Then check your web server configuration, let's say Apache. Search about .rar extension, is there anything?

Looking around not really hitting anything. As I said it works fine in IE. And this is not just rar, its any file being downloaded via url on all firefox versions.
