Firefox on mac

I have firefox on mac here and am recently finding the scrolling to jerk a bit now. It's not as smooth anymore... I'm trying to figure out why. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the problem still persists.

I will be scrolling up and down and it will glitch for a split second then continue scrolling. I am running the latest version.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

    Thanks

Are you sure it's not the touchpad then?

I don't think it is. Cause when I scroll with my wireless mouse the same issue occurs. As well, this issue doesn't occur in other programs.

    It's a Mac, there's your problem. ;)

Seriously though this is weird, I once had this problem but I just updated it and it was fine again, you said you already did that though so I have no idea. :/

Maybe it's just a problem with the latest firefox 3.6.12..... because I don't see a issue with it in Safari... not sure not sure. I have done maintenance on the hard drive, cleared cache, reinstalled firefox, etc.... I really don't want to have to do a hard wipe just because of this small, YET annoying issue.

Try to update your MAC Software. Especially your track pad drivers. It will give you smooth interface.

Drivers check&update is first thing every Unix user should do, when something's wrong.

Try out Chrome. I used Firefox on Mac for a long time but finally gave Chrome a shot and I would not go back.. so much better.
