Mozilla is planning to give a new look for Firefox. The initial themes for Windows have already been released and I’ll be posting them below, they are also available in Mozilla Wiki. Looking at the screenshots below, they surely look better but not sure about the performance. The new user interface will be implemented for Firefox version 3.7 The latest version that can be download today is Firefox 3.5. Screenshots below are not yet final so the final release may differ. These are for brainstorming/exploration only: More details: http://yourdailyguide.org/firefox-37-new-look-for-windows-xp-vista-and-7/
Implementing the Aero interface is a good thing, especially with people that have DX9+ compatible card as it will aid rendering. Plus it look's pretty which is the main point.
It really looks good and the layout is simply awesome, now just waiting for the new release of Firefox 3.7
That's actually a much better, cleaner style for Firefox. To be honest though, I think it looks like most new Adobe Air style products that are coming out. It does shout anything Firefoxy, if you get me.
I agree with JR24. It looks a lot like Chrome, which I have set as my default browser. I don't like the fact that there is no navigation toolbar - my main gripe with Chrome.
^ Yeah what a rip off from google chrome. Firefox are the second if not first leading internet browsing and they came up with this? Dissapointing
Same here, Firefox is also my favorite browser because of its addons that make my work faster and easier.
