Use cc cleaner to clear cookies of your browser effectively. Its completly free. If this does not work try older versions of firefox.

If you need to go back to an earlier FF version you can get any version you like here at oldapps.com/firefox
They have old versions of a lot of stuff. Good place to bookmark.

Chrome does not have these problems. I used to be a loyal FF user until I began having problems with it hanging up more often than not.

Did you recieve a message about firefox disabiling some addons after upgrading?

There's a problem with a couple of the Microsoft addons (windows presentation framework was one, can't recall the other). Those two addons have been causing a lot of slow downs, and recently Mozilla sent out a call to web browsers to disable them. I noticed FF was a bit more speedy afterwards.

Try disabiling the addons from microsoft, and see if that fixes your problem.

hey .... just clear your history, cookies and everything after that just uninstall your FF at that time you will get one option like remove all FF settings and something.. just check that box and continue uninstalling. Then restart your PC and reinstall the FF. I think it will work for you. :)
