I was wondering how many people actually do use these personalization features?

 

A lot of people do, but they're the same people who don't know how to get the most out of it, or don't even realize what it is.

 

yes, but it will help google improve their SE, getting info about traffic, detecting redirects, finding sites which dont have backlinks, etc

This "deny" story is probably a media game, I'm sure they share the info with the gov.

 

One think i noticed was with FF 1.5 the PR bar usually shows a different PR number than when using IE....
