Firefox...ehm...loop time???

    Heya, how can i change the firefox "loop" time??
    I mean the time it needs before say "error, the server isn't reply...too much time.."

    WTF i dunno how to call it cause i have the italian version.

    Help meh :f

    In firefox type this into the address bar: about:config

    press enter

    Now look for Total Open time

    Make the number lower.

    Isn't the timeout 30 seconds? If your site takes longer than that you have problems. ;)

    I would have to agree with this. Normal sites, even ones with alot of content should take no more than 10 seconds to load at most on a high speed connection.

    The timeout is not the load time, otherwise pages with large images would timeout. The timeout is for when the first packet arrives back from the server. It's checking the delay before the loading starts.
