Problems between IE and FF are caused by poor coding that isn't compliant with both browsers. FF is more standards complient than IE so you should first design your site for this and then fix the problems in IE, it usually saves time.

In regards to "software" to fix the problems, the only thing i can think of is the W3 Validator which checks your website for any common errors or code which differs from commonly accepted standards. If you enter your URL here, you will probabaly get a list of errors outputted to you. If you can get the validator to validate your site you will probably find 9 times out of 10 that your site looks the same in FF and IE.

Other than this you will probably need to ask for help, either here or elsewhere and somebody may be kind enough to solve it for you! You'll probably need help on the errors the validator gives you also if you've never used it before!!

To work around those funky minor browser problems you'd need a lot of time to learn and practice yourself. Many people make a good living on that.

You either start learning the tricks yourself or just pay someone to do the hard part for you. =)
