    What's faster?

Judging from that response, doubt it. Opera has ALWAYS been faster than FireFox.

I always thought Opera was okay, nothing too special, but 9.5 is just totally awesome. They did a total overhaul on the engine and interface, and I'm loving it. For all the hype FF3 has gotten, I'm running both on my Pentium III and Opera is slightly faster. From the task manager, I see it uses nearly half the memory that FF3 uses. The scrolling is very smoooooth and Opera 9.5 has the best looking default skin I've seen so far.

With that said, FF3 will most likely still be my default browser because of the plugins. I use the weather plugin, a auto-form fill plugin for directories, and some others. If you haven't, you owe it to yourself to download or upgrade to Opera 9.5. It's not the same as the older versions.

Firefox is awesome, but not only because it's extensions. Opera is a little faster, but most of the time its not even noticeable.

I have a pentium 3 also, just 455mhz and i use opera because its way quicker loading up and loads pages faster then FF. Even IE6 and IE7 are better for low performance PC's, FF is a resource hog on PIII ^.^

I was a big fan of Opera, but I use FF now, I think FF is a bit faster, also Opera is good to bypass Zango/Seekmo Gateways, they both have their pro's and con's. For now it's FF for me.

I just got FF 3.0 and it is awesome! Microsoft's IE sucks, Opera is fine. Opera mini though is by far the best solution for mobile phones!! I wish firefox make a mobile version of their browser!!

Opera is better in 90% of aspects, but even so. I feel comfortable with FF, I don't want to leave my comfort zone :)
