I finished reading Misery by Stephen King, and I think it was a great book. I kept telling people parts of it that I liked and they said things like, "I don't want to hear stuff like that," and "We're eating dinner, come on!" Anyone else read it? It seems like a lot more people have seen the movie rather than have read the book.
I've read it and believe it is far better than the movie. But that might be because i hate kathy bates.
The movie has its good moments. But I definitely enjoyed the book more; then again, I'm a book fiend and usually prefer books or movies any day.
Oh my! I read that book so many years ago. Kingy has the knack of totally drawing you into each character. Not forgetting his alter ego "Bachman" books. Other books by him I enjoyed over the years was: The Tommyknockers The Body The Running Man Rose Madder IT Col
I read that book years ago. It's one of King's better novels, but I never really enjoyed him very much. 'It' is likely my favorite, and it's the most drawn out and boring thing I've ever read.
How is it your favorite if it's the most boring thing you've ever read? I know about Richard Bachman, the next thing I read will be under him: The Regulators, sister boook to Desperation.
