I created a simple script for one of my clients to sell gift certificates from their website. But I need to finish it up. Needs form validation for user input. And an admin panel to manage the database of gift purchases. Script simply takes user data in a form, on submit data goes to mysql and the user is sent to paypal to make payment, we are passing a variable (auto increment ID) to paypal who then passes it back after payment so we can keep track of which entry in the database it corresponds to when the user comes back to the site after paypal. User gets a thank you page and an auto thank you email. Seller gets an email to notify them a gift was purchased. Clients site has another script running on the site that does other stuff, so I want to be able to add the admin for the gift script into the admin for the other one, so they don't have to log in to 2 separate admin panels. Will also be adding a blog to their site and would like to somehow put a link inside the main admin panel to go to wordpress admin, without having to log in to yet another admin. Who can help me with this? And do so today or tommorow? You must have a strong grasp of security issues with php and mysql. And be able to build so that it will run on php 4 and 5. I don't want a script that goes tits up when/if the server upgrades to a new version of php.
