Does anybody know who owns the Finditfred.com Directory? I also need a valid email address to contact this person Thanks, Mike
Have you tried using the site search function here or sending an email to the address listed in the whois info? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=32410
The owner is a good guy however my I haven't got any response about my claim. Well I just hope it still is in progress.
Same here I paid money for a Sitewide link at the beginning of this month and its disappeared, with no contact from the owner or previous owner regarding a refund, very bad form indeed even if it was only 10$. I am not even sure was the link displayed last month or not. One thing for sure I wont be doing business with find it fred again.
The owner just asked a very stupid question, hope this doesnt have to do with you guys buying you links http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=335758
dont worry no one bought links.. which lead me to think about whats wrong with the Dir and how i can build it from the ground up.. i purchased this directory a few months ago from another DP member who hasnt replied to any of my PM's. I am new to this and i have alot of questions. The timing of the purchase couldnt have been anyworse. the day after the transaction was completed via sedo, google updated PR and my dir that i thought would maintain its PR5 dropped to a 4. Ive been kinda bummed and im not asking for anyones pity but id like to handle the dir my own way even if some of the people here might question my ethics , i know its good for the long run ... Im also the type of person that likes clean starts... so dont hold anything against me. i overpaid for the directory and now im trying to what it takes make it better, even though i know people might not agree with my decisions.
@ Vinny... try and make the best of a bad situation to the extent that yes the next day it drooped in PR but heck ya still got a PR4 with inner juice... If i may suggest that you expand the web directories section so as to break that long line of pages by adding some more catagories as web directories is a very large income source .. well at least it is in most of my directories Regardless i wish ya the best... thx malcolm
its still in progress, i can foward you my emails to simplexity (the person i purchased it from ) if youd like
I actually told him to ask that question. lol He asked me if he was to empty most of the existing links listed on FindItFred.com, would some of his category pages lose PR due to the change in content. I couldn't give him a definite answer so I told him to ask on the forums...
No need for the e-mails its between you and him. I am just very dissapointed that you just deleted the links without even notifying us which is Unprofessional. Well I'll just take this loss and will just move forward. Best of Luck to your directory.
So, Find it Fred is no where to be found? ..Bad joke, just had to...sorry, i'll be at the link sales if anyone needs to find me..get it, find me?..no?...lol caffeine will do this to you.
I think Fred can be found....its just gone under new ownership. Its simplexity that was very unprofessional for creating a directory with lots of a fake PR and then selling it when it was PR5. the new owner vinny actually seems like he cares about the site.
