Finding your website's position on google

Hi,

As I have to monitor our position on search engines on a weekly basis for my work I created this simple online form for simplifying the process. There is software out there that will do this also but I couldn't find an online version.

Feel free to use it, it can be found at http://www.allfreetagboards.com/search and is free and easy to use. I will be adding support for yahoo and possibly Live Search in the future, but I'll just see how it goes first. You can search up to 5 keywords at a time.

Any comments would be much appreciate,

It is not showing correct results.

 

Google has many servers, positions may vary depending on which server you are searching and which server the application is searching. Which keywords and URL did you use and how big is the difference?

 

I had it using google.com.au as I am Australian... It is now using Google.com which returns different results. I will have to make this an option.

 

Thanks for this i have some sites and want to check the my websites position in Google.com, so please tell me.

That's good Zerosleep, Gives me some ideas for improvements that I can make... I will make mine look better and add more features when I get time, but it does the job for the moment. I will also be releasing a desktop application, which I actually created first but have not released yet. That one already covers yahoo and msn also.
