    Hiya just a quick q,

Any site of mine seems to turn up no results when I search in google:
    link:mydomain.com
    Code (markup):
I know I've got at least a couple of links though! has anyone else experienced this? Any way to really measure what's going on?

    Thanks!

Yahoo site explorer is by far the best option for checking links. Although Google webmaster central now gives you a much better indication on links Google has picked up (but still not showing all)

You may have made several links but your competitors must have made backlinks the multiple times than you ever did. That makes your links no value at all.

or you can use a more accurate tool from seomy.net it gives you specific details of your websites and lists backlinks, keyword ranks, page ranks, seo information about your site, where your site is doing good etc... all for webmasters

If you get the seobook's seo4firefox addon, you can see what pages link back to any page you visit.

So far Yahoo is the best options to track the backlinks of your website. However, there are so many other tools as well that you can try, but these tools also pics the data from either yahoo or google
