Finding traffic is not as easy as it looks.

    How would I go about getting people to find my site lodist.com and using it? I have tried various methods, none of which have worked. They are classifieds, which people can post their links for services ect.
    Can anybody share their methods of traffic getting, not involving scams, but actual ways?

    Cheers, Andre

    Write articles, exchange links, and create an rss feed.

    I have exchanged links with over 700 people from gotlinks.com They show up in most search engines. I have an rss feed for every category in my site. The question is how would people find my site? And what insetive would they have to use it?

    If you would like to have a dynamic rss feed you will need to know a programming language such as php, asp ect. You can make the xml out of php by:
    Making a header such as:
    <? header('Content-type: application/xml'); ?>
    Then you can make seperate pages/rss fees for each category in the same manner as you would with normal pages.

    What sort of submission services should I use?
