Hi all, Ok, let me preface this by saying that I am a newbie to this.... I am looking for good nichefinding software; I found a product that I was interested in called Niche Inspector but the thing is, it was powered by Overture so I don't think I'll be investing $127 on something that is powered by a dead technology. Any ideas from anyone here on a software that is comparable to Niche Inspector? Thanks, y'all, I appreciate ya! Lisa
The way I find my niche is to use free web-based tools like Wordtracker, GoodKeywords or Google Adwords Keyword Tool to find the keywords for a broad niche. If I find some good keywords with potential and products, I will do a Google search for the word to find out the competition in place for the keyword, if there is little or none, it will be my niche. No money needed.
Hi, if you need to buy a tool, try Micro Niche Finder, but frankly, there is a simple litmus test you can do and all it takes is 3 steps to find a profitable product. You can also subscribe free at NicheaDay that will give you a niche idea a day. Or you can always read about the entire process of finding profitable products from my Free report in my sig. Every profitable product generally has these 3 favorable factors: 1. Competition Is there some competition in the market, ie are there already some products that are sold in the market. Chances are if there are, it is a good sign. By competition, it also means that are there affiliates promoting the product you intend to sell, say for instance, ClickBank. Check out the Gravity. 2. Interest Are there people who are searching for the product or niche you are targeting? Keyword research and search counts will point this out to you. Try Google's keyword research tool or KeywordDiscovery or any free keyword tool, look for a decent search volume not just for the main keyword like "weight loss", but related keywords like "weight loss pills", "weight loss diets", etc. The whole idea is so that the entire market has enough searches and you will not run short of long tails to target for a decent stream of traffic. 3. Spenders Are there spenders in the market? If there are quite a number of Google Adwords ads on the right column in the search engine, it is a good sign that people are buying. When there are many ads, there is a high possibility that people are bidding high prices for top spots. To confirm, use Yahoo's bid tool to find out how much is it to get to the top bids. If the bids are all above $0.20 to $0.50, this means that the ads are still profitable for the advertisers. This also implies that the niche you are looking at is profitable.
To make his work easily. Maybe he wants to make a blog about something that is unique and not saturated to make his profits only to himself
I wouldn't go through the trouble of paying for software. I would just go to Ebay Pulse. Or go use a website with a free tool that shows the tops searches on a search engine.
I agree that you don't have to pay for software like Micro Niche Finder, but only if you have a lot of time that you can use to find what you are looking for. Basically, it's easier to use and it gets the job done a lot faster. Jens
If niche=keywords then I'm using Google Adwords. If niche={large income from context ads} then there is now other way just trying a lot of niches.
