Another way to find the niche in just 1 minute, the answer is

    NEWSPAPER, Magazines. Eg. Time, Newsweek

Journalists make articles to make people buy the newspaper right? So they go for the hottest thing everyone is interested in.

Make sense? Off course, I'm telling you guys stop using the tools but this is just a sharing or alternate way of finding your niche if you don't have the tools. Thanks

    Alvin,

You are correct in saying that journalists make articles to draw people to read their publication, but I would take your advice a step further and say that it's important to concentrate on specific SECTIONS of the publications, especially in the case of newspapers.

I suggest this because if you are trying to build a long-term niche site, we have found that it can be hard to do with cyclical topics that you might find in the "local" section of your newspaper. Instead, concentrate on the "business", "classifieds", or "technology" sections, which will often provide reviews and information about new trends and gadgets. Additionally, standard circular ads in your Sunday paper will feature hot, new products that retail stores are selling, which could give you some other ideas on how you can monetize your sites.

    Good luck!
