We all know content is king, all the big sites (Yahoo, Google, Digg etc) big bloggers (Problogger, Gizmodo, Techcrunch etc) have loads of it. So the question I have spent a lot of time and money figuring out is how I can get loads of great quality content really cheap.

Obviously user generated content aka YouTube is great, then at the same time you have the spam and legal issues to deal with.

So here's some of what I've figured out:

    - Find writers with a genuine interested in your niche
    - If possible get native english speakers first, you'd be surprised what people will work for if they're interested in your project
    - Be a desirable employer
    - create a great atmosphere and have a "fun" vibrant company cultutre... appealing to their sense of freedom and the reason they like working with young internet businesses.
    - create high standards and values at your company to create an expectation of producing quality

For more ideas and the seven step method I use to find great content writers check out Hiring Content Writers.

Not possible. Native English speakers won't write for $5 or $8. They just won't. Make a simple calculation. If someone spends 40 minutes on an article, he/she can write 10 articles a day (some breaks are needed and some articles take more than 40 minutes). $50 to $80 a day - that is $1100 to $1800 a month doing it full-time. In Britain you can barely pay your rent with that kind of money. USA, Canada, Oz - a bit better but still quite similar - it's very hard to live on that amount.

And have an enormous budget... LOL
