How do you go about doing keyword research and finding the right keywords. Do you just brainstorm them?

keyword research is based on the target niche of your site. Usually i used keyword research tool like keyword adword tools and seobook keyword tools. I usually check the daily searches of that keywords and if that is exceed 100 daily searches it is okey to use that. We also check the competing pages in google search result, if it is a million worth, its not good to choose that and it is better if we choose the less competing pages on that keywords.

Google insight is a valuable tool.
I also use a keyword spy that works well to see what people are actually clicking on.

Google’s main concern is relevancy so if you start your keyword research using the results that they’ve suggested then base the rest of your research on these results, you’ll be on the right track.
