In Google Adwords tools, you can check popular keywords and Google also suggested possible keywords for you to use.

Yeah, there's a free tool in Adwords that's a good start.

For more advanced research, try Wordze or Wordtracker.

I just bought the KeywordElite program yesterday from reading this thread and then watching some of the videos. Looks rather interesting and looks like it might be able to help me out with my campaigns and save me a lot of time. Will let you know how it turns out to be. If it's worth it, or actually a flop. Small investment for great potential time saving.

If you are looking for free as well as powerful, check out http://www.goodkeywords.com/.
It is a windows application though..

For more through search, use Wordtracker or Keyword Elite ..both are good

I dunno... i've been playing with it for the past 2 hours or so... so far... it's not TOO impressive... maybe I just don't know how to use it properly and don't know how to maximize its potential yet... but i'll keep working on it and trying it out for another few days to see if I can get it to work properly or to do the things that I want it to do...

If it doesn't work well for me after a few more days though.... time to get a refund...

I really recommend you use the Multiplication Method using Efficient PPC. It allows you to generate massive lists of highly targeted, "long tail" keywords.
