finding high page rank sites?

    I'm having trouble finding related sites to mine with a high page ranking that i might be able to approach about becoming linked. Is there a tool to search for high PR sites about specific topics?

    high PR websites will not give you a link.but you can try..will be very hard.but,if you have also a high PR website,then it will work. there is no tool for finding high PR. search for websites in your niche,and you will find high PR too

    Use Google to see which sites come up for the search terms you are after, the top results should be some of the higher PR sites. You can also run those sites through any PageRank estimator sites to see what they think the sites PR is.

    What's the point to get focused on PR? Just get ANY backlinks.

    I have an art-related site and I was looking for link partners so I just googled "art sites" "link exchange" and found some with PR equal or above mine and contacted them. It's slow and painstaking work, but if you can contact a few each week you will start building backlinks. Building PR does not come quick at all.

    Its taken me 10 months to go from PR=0 to PR=2 and I am working on going to PR=3
