    I have been in the gaming industry for some time. When looking for ad space, seems link most the sites are either too good for my site, or they have one backlink pointing to them.

    Recently I added the Alexa plugin for Google Chrome. After installing it, it shows a small icon on the right of Chrome. Clicking on it gives the amount of backlinks for a site, the Alexa ranking and more info. I recommend it to any webmaster.

    Now, when I look for good gaming sites, my research is done in only 5 seconds. Sure, Alexa is not the best indicator of a site's popularity, but it is good enough.
