Hi, Recently I was listening to a presentation from Guy Kawazaki on AcademicEarth One of the things he said is one of the best ways to market you company/product is to find evangelists. An evangelist is a person who believes in your product/service/company and is willing to spread the word arond him and may be whereever he goes. However he stops shorts from saying where to find such people? Some may say these shoud be your friends, but personally I don't think it is about friends coz you might have a very good friend but he is not interested in what you do and thus can't spread the word with the same enthusiasm an evangelist can! Any clue about the subject? thx
First off, no one says "evangelists" should be your friends. Generally, you find happy customers either by them contacting you or by following up after each sale. The truly satisfied customers will generally respond to your follow-ups and you can begin to grow your relationship with them that way.
