Does anyone have a method or proven strategy for finding and claiming abandoned or orphaned Typepad blogs?

If so, please explain how this is done.

    Thank you.

Not sure how you can claim a blog. Person can leave it as long as host allows it. If they own hosting they might just keep it up if it makes any money for them

Allow me to clarify: My question only applies to Typepad, which is a fee-based blogging service. Blogs can be abandoned when the Typepad account is no longer paid for by the owner.

I'm aware of at least one other person who is gobbling up abandoned Typepad blogs. He's re-selling them or using them to generate revenue, but he's not talking. I'm curious if anyone has a clue about how this could be accomplished.

Thanks again for your time and expertise in answering my question.
